What Should You Feel?

BFST^® treatments are very pleasant and relaxing. You will not feel any vibrating, shocks, pain or discomfort from BFST^® treatments.

BFST^® treatments are not designed to produce a lot of surface heat. The treatments are designed to heal your injury or condition. You may feel a very slight warming sensation and/or tingling sensation as a result of the increase in blood flow, as well as a small amount of surface heat from the Energy Web^®. The more BFST^® treatments you do, the less warmth you will feel. This is good. As the warmth lessens from treatment to treatment, this is an indication that the circulation in the injured area is improving.

Possible Side Effects

• Redness - Customers may have redness where the Energy Web^® comes into close contact with your skin. There is no harm in this, as it is a sign of increased blood flow at the surface of the skin, provided the redness goes away a couple of hours after the treatment. If the redness doesn't disappear within a couple hours, you should discontinue use.


• Rash - Our products are tested to ISO 10993 standards for medical devices to ensure there is no topical reaction to the materials. There is no higher standard for material safety. Still, allergic reaction to the wrap may occur in a very small group of people. If a rash appears during the use of our products, you should discontinue use.


• Burns - Some people may experience a burn directly due to the use or the mis-use of the product. It is not common, but if it should occur, you should stop using this product immediately.


• Blistering - Again, not common, but may occur in extremely rare cases. Blistering mostly occurs if a rash or irritation is not noticed and use continues for a prolonged time. Consult your physician if you notice these symptoms and stop using the product.


• Pain - If you feel any pain during treatments with this product, this could mean that you have an underlying issue or internal inflammation that may not be visible from the outside. You should stop using this product and start Cold Therapy with a ColdCure^® Wrap for a minimum of three days to ensure all inflammation has been reduced. You may try BFST^® again after several days of ColdCure^® treatments. If pain still persists, please stop using this product and consult your physician.


• Irritation - Other irritation is very rare. If any irritation occurs during the use of our products, you should discontinue use.


• Hypersensitivity - After a treatment has finished, some customers report a feeling of hypersensitivity that lasts only a couple of hours after the treatment. This is happening because the blood flow has increased in this area. This is normal, but if it feels painful or you feel discomfort, you should discontinue the use of the product and consult your physician.


• Tingling - Customers have reported a feeling of tingling during the treatments. With increased blood flow to the area, tingling may occur. Tingling on its own is not a bad sign, but if it is something that is causing pain, or makes you feel uncomfortable, you should stop treatments and consult your physician before using the product again.

What Is It Doing?

ColdCure^® Wraps are designed to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation associated with soft tissue injuries and chronic conditions. The wrap offers compression and the gel packs won't move or shift when you do, so cold is maintained longer, giving you the ultimate in Cold Therapy.

What Should You Feel?

Most of all, you should feel relief from your pain. The ColdCure^® RigiGel^® packs should feel cool and provide relief from swelling by using compression, as well as the cold. The gel packs should feel as rigid out of the freezer as they do at room temperature. This ensures that the cold is evenly dispersed over the affected area and optimal compression will be reached without having it pre-formed to your body. The gel will not move around inside the pack. When pressure is applied the gel will move, but retain its original form to provide even cooling.

Still, reaction to the wrap has been reported, but the frequency of this happening is very rare. If a rash appears during the use of our products, you should discontinue use.


• Pain - If you feel any pain during treatments with this product, this could mean that you have an underlying issue or internal injury that may not be visible from the outside. If the pain persists, you should stop using the product immediately and consult your physician.


• Irritation - If any other irritation occurs during the use of our products, you should discontinue use.

What Is It Doing?

KB Support Tape^™ provides your injury with protection, support and ongoing compression. It works with your skin to keep the underlying tissue in place, preventing re-injury. KB Support Tape^™ makes your skin more rigid and less elastic than normal. This works to limit the movement of your skin and soft tissue, protecting your injury from further damage.

What Should You Feel?

KB Support Tape^™ is made of soft, stretchy, thin material. It's very lightweight and comfortable, so you can wear it during all of your daily activities and it won't get in the way. While it does make your skin's surface more rigid than usual, it won't restrict your range of motion. You may notice that it makes the area feel more stable and supported. It also serves as a visual reminder of your injury or condition.

Possible Side Effects

Redness - Redness may occur once you peel the KB Support Tape^™ off your skin, but should dissipate within a couple of minutes. You may experience redness while wearing KB Support Tape^™ if you're doing BFST^® treatments at the same time. There is no harm in this, as it is a sign of increased blood flow at the surface of the skin, provided the redness goes away a couple of hours after the treatment. If the redness doesn't disappear within a couple hours, you should discontinue use of the BFST^® device.

Rash - Our products are tested to ISO 10993 standards for medical devices to ensure there is no topical reaction to the materials. There is no higher standard for material safety. KB Support Tape^™ is hypoallergenic, latex-free and made with a medical adhesive. Still, allergic reaction to the Tape may occur in a very small group of people. If a rash appears during the use of the Tape, you should discontinue use.

Irritation - If any other irritation occurs during the use of our products, you should discontinue use.
